Double Olympic champion Teddy Riner has been selected for the World Anti-Doping Agency Athlete Committee for a three-year term.

Judo’s record-breaking eight-time world champion Riner, who is currently the President of the IJF’s own Athlete Commission, was put forward for the WADA role by the IJF. 

French superstar Riner, who turned on the Christmas lights at the Champs Elysees on Monday, will commence his WADA appointment on 1 January 2017.
