Sergei Aschwanden, Bronze Medalist at the Beijing Olympic Games, 6th Dan, organized a new edition of the Sergei Judo Camp in July (NATSU Camp), just prior to the Olympic Games. Once again, the camp received the "IJF approved project" label.

In Fiesch, at the far end of the Canton of Valais, Switzerland, more than 210 young judoka (Juniors and Cadets), coming from 30 countries, benefited from the expertise of several great champions led by Sergei Aschwanden (SUI). The camp has been a success story for many years now, helping young athletes to discover high level training sessions and enjoy the expertise of renowned judo coachs.

Sergei Aschwanden  declared: “With 30 nations from all continents, the 4th edition of this camp was a colorful edition. The exchanges between athletes and coaches has lead to intense and constructive relationship for the future.

Technical courses were again of a very high level and this year we were lucky to have Winston Gordon in our ranks. The various Olympic, world and European medallists managed to inspire the younger generation and instill the values of judo. We are looking forward to hosting the 5th edition of Natsu camp next year.“
