The road to the Baku World Senior Championships 2026 has officially begun with the launch of the event's communication campaign and the opening of ticket sales.

From 4th to 11th October 2026, the world's best judoka will gather in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the prestigious championships will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena. Athletes from across the globe will compete for the sport's most coveted titles in both the individual and mixed team competitions.

To mark the launch of the countdown, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation has unveiled the visual identity of the championships. The dynamic design captures both the spirit of world-class judo and Azerbaijan's pride in hosting one of the sport's flagship events.

For the home crowd, the championships will offer a unique opportunity to witness the world's leading judoka in action while supporting the Azerbaijani team on home soil.
