A total of 163 competitors from 24 nations gathered in Tbilisi over two days for the 2026 IBSA Judo World Cup. In total, 69 women and 94 men took part, representing four continents: Africa, Europe, Asia and Pan-America.

Nine categories were contested on this second day of competition and, once again, the level of performance and commitment from all athletes was outstanding. Beyond the results, it was the spirit of resilience, determination and courage that truly stood out. Each contest reflected not only technical excellence but also the extraordinary dedication required to reach this level.

Every athlete stepping onto the tatami carried a story of perseverance, overcoming challenges and pushing boundaries. Their ability to perform with such intensity and precision is a powerful reminder of the true essence of judo, a sport built on values, respect and the constant pursuit of improvement.

In Tbilisi, Para judo demonstrated its strength, its inclusivity and the unwavering commitment of its athletes, who continue to inspire far beyond the competition area.
