The International Judo Federation (IJF) and All Japan Judo Federation (AJJF) has unveiled IJF World Judo Tour sponsor Park 24 as the presenting partner for the 2019 World Judo Championships in Tokyo, Japan this August.

AJJF President Mr. YAMASHITA Yasuhiro signed the contract with Park 24 who established a judo team in 2010 and has since recruited a strong roster of champions including Olympic bronze medallists and multiple-time world champions EBINUMA Masashi and TAKATO Naohisa.

Park 24, who have been active sponsors of the AJJF since 2016, will now be key partners for the upcoming World Championships which will be held at the historic Nippon Budokan venue, from August 25th to September 1st.

IJF President Mr. Marius L. VIZER said: “The International Judo Federation appreciates the partnership with Park 24, who are becoming title sponsors of the Tokyo 2019 World Championships. I would like to congratulate the All Japan Judo Federation and Park 24 for this milestone signing and I am sure that with joint forces, we will deliver an outstanding and successful edition of the Judo World Championships.”

Mr. NISHIKAWA Koichi, President and Representative director of Park24, said: “We are honoured to be participating for the World Judo Championships TOKYO 2019 as the Presenting Partner. We hope to make this championship, which will be held at Nippon Budokan, the home of martial arts, to be exciting one with the audience so that players who had gone through hard training can fully demonstrate their skill and powers.”

AJJF President Mr. YAMASHITA Yasuhiro said: “It is with great pleasure to announce that the Park 24 Group has become the Presenting Partner of the World Judo Championships TOKYO 2019. The Nippon Budokan, the venue of these championships will also host the Judo event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. These championships will undoubtedly be a historic event for our Sport. The All Japan Judo Federation, together with the Park 24 Group will collaborate to deliver a successful championships which will inspire Judo fans from around the world.”
