Ahead of the final block of competition on day three of the 2026 Baku World Championships, the International Judo Federation and CBH Compagnie Bancaire Helvétique officially renewed their sponsorship agreement, further strengthening a relationship built on shared values and an international vision.

The ceremony brought together IJF President Mr Marius Vizer and CBH Chief Executive Officer Mr Simon Benhamou. The renewed agreement extends the partnership between the global governing body of judo and the respected Swiss banking institution for a further two years.

CBH’s commitment to excellence, its international outlook and its enduring values make it a natural partner for the global judo family. Beyond elite sporting performance, the renewed agreement reflects a shared belief in long term commitment, trust, discipline and responsibility.

“Judo is built on strong values, mutual respect and the ambition to create a better future through sport,” said Mr Marius Vizer. “We are pleased to continue our partnership with CBH Compagnie Bancaire Helvétique. This renewed agreement confirms the confidence each organisation has in the other and a shared vision of excellence and lasting commitment.”

For CBH, the renewal underlines its continued support for a sport in which principles resonate deeply with the institution’s own identity. “We are honoured to renew our partnership with the International Judo Federation and continue supporting a sport that combines discipline, respect and determination,” said Mr Simon Benhamou. “Judo is a truly global family, guided by values that we recognise and share at CBH. We look forward to continuing this meaningful relationship with the IJF over the coming years.”
