With the launch of the new Olympic qualification cycle the International Judo Federation is offering valuable information on the current rules of doping control, medications and supplements, and therapeutic use exemptions, along with the principles of clean sport and guidelines to show how everyone can contribute to clean judo.

Knowing and applying the anti-doping rules is as essential as knowing and following the judo rules and so it is the IJF’s top priority to make all necessary information available for the judo family. From 30th June, for 5 weeks, the International Testing Agency, IJF’s partner in delivering anti-doping services, offers a webinar series for all members of the judo community.

The webinars are in English with simultaneous Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish translation. Registration is free and the weekly links can be found in the list below. Participants completing all 5 weeks will receive an IJF certificate.

As part of the IJF’s educational development plan, in the future every active judoka, coach or team official will be required to complete an anti-doping educational course in order to attend IJF World Judo Tour events. This regulation will come into play for the 2023 World Championships, in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Updates regarding accepted certificates, courses and educational material will be published later this year.

We invite all judo family members to attend the webinar series in order to glimpse the basics of anti-doping.
