An Accomplished Judoka
Blandine’s record speaks for itself. In 2023 she achieved three consecutive grand slam victories, in Paris, Tel Aviv and Antalya. With that she earned her place in the French selection for the 2023 World Championships in Doha.
Studies and a Double Path
Beyond the tatami, Blandine pursues a demanding academic career; she is a final-year dental surgery student. Balancing clinical placements with intensive training at INSEP, she navigates missed classes and catch-up work with the same rigour she shows on the tatami. For her, this balance between sport and study is not only about performance, it is also about shaping character.
In 2022 she founded TT Sport, an association supporting athletes who, like her, combine elite training with higher education. Through TT Sport, Blandine advocates for students facing the daily challenge of reconciling lectures, competitions, travel and academic obligations. This cause is both personal and collective.
Support, Motivation and Values
What drives her? A deep passion for judo, curiosity and clear objectives, are the very things that help her rise each morning with determination. She is not alone: her family, coaches and mental preparation team provide the support she needs. As Blandine herself says, “When you are passionate, it’s easier! Having something alongside judo helps to put both victory and defeat in perspective.”
Creativity and Expression
Her double career does not stop at sport and studies. Blandine is also an artist. Through Atelier Felieno, she creates abstract textile artworks, rugs and tapestry-like pieces crafted by hand, rich in organic forms, textures and vibrant colours. This artistic world allows her to transform her experiences, her travels, competitions, values, into sensory creations.
A Vision Beyond Limits
Blandine Pont does not settle for excelling; she merges her passions, embraces her constraints and shares them with others. Her ambition is strong, her commitment’s authentic and her dreams are crystal clear. She embodies the promise that sport can be more than discipline: a path towards balance, expression and self-transcendence.
