After the successful Veterans World Championships held in Portugal in October 2021, the veteran judo family will gather again in May in two different locations, Hungary and Brazil, for what are expected to be great moments of friendship and camaraderie.

On 7th May Hungary will hold the XXIII Hungarian Masters Open in Győr, west of Budapest, in the Olympic Sports Parc. The event is open to foreign judoka, both men and women over 30 years old.

Brazil will organise the Pan American Judo Veterans and Kata Festival which will include the Veterans and 2022 Kata Pan American Championships, the Veterans South American Championships and the first Veterans Pan American Open, which is also open to athletes from other continents. The events will take place in Salvador Bahia from 11th to 16th May 2022.
