Mr Sergey Soloveychik has taken the decision to withdraw from all international judo activity at this time, stepping down as Vice-President of the International Judo Federation and President of the European Judo Union.
Mr Soloveychik has been a loyal servant of judo for many years and all colleagues and friends thank him for his diligence and professionalism. He will be missed but his contribution will be remembered and built upon. The international judo community wishes Me Soloveychik well in all he does in the future.
