Following the hugely successful Antalya Grand Slam, held in Türkiye from 31st March to 2nd April, the final list of athletes eligible to participate in the World Judo Championships - Doha 2023 has been drawn up.

In accordance with the IJF Sport and Organisation Rules (SOR, 24th March 2023, English), the registration on Judobase will now be open for eligible athletes only.

World Championships Seniors

Only athletes ranked number 1-100* in the seniors WRL, and athletes ranked number 1-16* in the juniors WRL, can take part with each National Federation allowed to enter:

· Up to 9 entries for women with maximum 2 athletes per category.

· Up to 9 entries for men with maximum 2 athletes per category.

*Equally ranked athletes can all participate.

The host country may enter:

· Up to 9 entries for women with maximum 2 athletes per category, regardless of WRL position.

· Up to 9 entries for men with maximum 2 athletes per category, regardless of WRL position.

The World Ranking List Seniors, 03 April 2023 will be used for seeding.

World Championships mixed Teams

For the mixed team event, any athlete, regardless of WRL ranking position, can take part.

Athletes who participate in the mixed teams competition only should be inscribed as judoka in the individual event in judobase.
