Are you ready for an extraordinary year of judo? We are and we will support you throughout this season which promises to be amazing. But before we begin, we wish all the judoka on the planet, their families, their friends and all those who are directly or indirectly interested in our sport, a wonderful year and good health.

So, we are ready and in two weeks, the first event of the World Judo Tour will open in Portugal, the first grand prix of the year. It will be followed shortly after by the 50th edition of the legendary Paris Grand Slam. 50 editions, that is something! On this special occasion, we will offer you a great event as usual but also some special activities, ones we will keep quiet about. Wait patiently as it will be a great surprise!

These two competitions will launch the year 2024 in the best possible way, the highlights of which will be the World Championships in Abu Dhabi in May and of course the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in July and August, followed by the Paralympic Games.

Just by saying that, we understand that 2024 is a special year and the anticipation and excitement are already at their peak. Since the Tokyo Games, which took place during the summer of 2021, the judo world has been spinning at breakneck speed. Events unfolded at a lightning pace, offering their share of surprises and confirmations.

50th edition of the legendary Paris Grand Slam

If the list of athletes qualified for Paris 2024 is not yet known, since we will have to wait for the results of the world championships in May, the main features are emerging. Some athletes already have part of their ticket validated but they still need to obtain the best possible rankings. This is what future events will allow them to do, or not. For others the race still remains open and everything is possible. What we do know, however, is that the level in Abu Dhabi and Paris will be exceptional and that the judoka who will be medallists will have proudly earned their place. They too will be ready.

We are therefore ready to share with you the most beautiful moments of judo and welcome more and more of you in the stands or in front of your computer screens on which offers you more and more original content.

So the question remains: ARE YOU READY?
