The first day of the Ekaterinburg Grand Slam 2018 is now complete.

After the -60kg final, gold medallist Yeldos SMETOV (KAZ) and silver medallist Islam YASHUEV (RUS) shared their sportsmanship and judo's ingrained values to the world. The pair shared a warm embrace before raising each others hands to share a special moment after the first men's final of the day.
