The world Judo day is that, a world tribute, for everyone. Each one celebrates it in their own way. In Mongolia they have decided to publish a book, but not just any book.

The new book of Mongolian Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar was recently published in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Dedicated to World Judo Day, the book launch event was held in the publishing Hall at “Horse Time” according to the Mongolian national calendar. The family members, judoka, friends, and honorable guests were all invited to the book launch event.

As one of the legendary judokas, Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar fought in 4 different weight categories in the world for decades. He was a real fighter of weight categories: Olympic bronze medallist (U60 kg), World champion (U66 kg), Winner of the Paris Grand Slam (U73 kg), and bronze medallist (U81kg) of World Cup Jeju. As a Mongolian nation’s pride, Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar is Mongolia’s first ever judo world champion.

It has to be highlighted that Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar introduced offensive and tactically strong judo. His exceptional and extraordinary skills in judo will be remembered. After his retirement, Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar founded the “Mon-Altius Tsagaanbaatar Judo Academy” in 2018.

As a goal-oriented judo coach, he is confidently preparing the next judo generation.

Judo is respect! In his social responsibility, Khashbaatar Tsagaanbaatar is working as the President of the Mongolian Para-Judo association. At the time he is studying to pursue his Ph.D. degree in sports coaching. What a man! He is a phenomenon!
