The international medical scientific-practical conference "Multidisciplinary approach to medical support in the system of training high-class athletes" took place in the World Academy of Boxing and Medical Center PROSPORT.

Such a large-scale event for sports medicine was held in Kazakhstan for the first time.

The organizer of the conference was the National Olympic Committee with the support of the program "Olympic Solidarity". The conference was timed to coincide with the opening of the ultramodern sports center PROSPORT, which was attended by the President of the International Judo Federation Mr. Marius L. Vizer, Vice President of the NOC of Kazakhstan Daniyar Abulgazin, Vice Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yeldos Ramazanov.

World-renowned speakers, including Rod Whiteley, representative of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Deputy Director of the Department of Rehabilitation for Clinical Projects and Quality of the Aspetara Hospital for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. York Olaf Schumacher, Chairman of the Expert Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency for Biological Passports of Athletes, Member of the Expert Group of the World Anti-Doping Agency, Member of the Medical and Scientific Committee of the International Olympic Committee, Professor of Brighton University.

The Cadet World Championships continues on Saturday.
