Mr. Battulga Khaltmaa, President of Mongolia met Mr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China, during the second "One Belt And One Road" international cooperation summit BBS in Beijing.

During his stay, Mongolian President visited the national Olympic sports center on the afternoon of April 25 and attended the China-Mongolia Judo Training Camp, which is one of the activities marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. 30 Mongolian athletes are participating in the training camp along with the Chinese national team and are using the camp as a preparation of the upcoming World Championships to be held in Tokyo at the end of August 2019.

Accompanied by the Ministry of the General Administration of Sport of China, Mr. Gou Zhongwen and Mrs. Xian Dongmei, President of Chinese Judo Association, Mr. Battulga Khaltmaa watched the joint Training and friendly matches between the athletes of the two countries and had a cordial communication with them. He encouraged the athletes of the two countries to have active exchanges, learn from each other to jointly improve their competitive level and skills and further promote bilateral friendship through sports exchanges.nijf

President Battulga also watched with pleasure a judo demonstration performed by young children.

Mr. Battulga Khaltmaa has been the president of Mongolia Judo Association for many years and was elected as the Head of State on July 10th 2017. Passionate about sport, President Battulga is regularly present during major IJF events. Mr. Xi Jinping is the 7th President of the People's Republic of China since 15 November 2012. China will organize the Hohhot Grand Prix, as part of the World Judo Tour from May 24-26, 2019.
