In general, they drink it without sugar. Some put milk on it. But, for now, everyone asks for coffee. On Monday, September 24, the International Judo Federation coffee maker will be at full capacity with the first episode of the “Coffee with Céline” program, a series of interviews whose roasting is delicious.

Coffee because we like it and so do the athletes. Céline because, simply, she is Céline Géraud. European champion, World medalist, Olympic athlete, with more than forty years of judo behind her and, as if that were not enough, a journalist. She has it all. In France, Céline is a television star and, we are lucky, she is also fond of coffee.

You have to be an expert in judo, know the world of sports inside and what a champion feels before, during and after the battle. In addition, it is necessary to be a journalist to ask the right questions. Not everything is judo. Not everything is sweat, competition and sacrifice. There is a huge world behind each person and Céline is there to be told.

To know how to ask questions, that is good, but ask them with the right person at the right time is another thing. From Crista Deguchi to Fabio Basile, through Nikoloz Sherazadishvili and Daria Bilodid, they are different stories, with diverse traditions, tastes, experiences and visions. The union vector, the common thread, is the love for judo and the passion for victory. And the key to everything is the good humor and the relaxed atmosphere that reigns during the interviews. In addition, the coffee is good, even Fabio Basile has admitted it.

And if someone doesn't want coffee, you can order something else.
