Yesterday, July 23, 2017, the IJF Presidential Office received an amicable visit of IOC President, Mr. Thomas Bach, as well as Mr. Pere Miro, Olympic Solidarity Director, Mr. Kit McConnell, IOC Sports Director and IOC staff, on the occasion of their stay in Budapest.
They were welcomed by the President of the International Judo Federation, Mr. Marius Vizer, as well as IJF General Treasurer, Mr. Naser Al Tamimi, and IJF Vice-President, Mr. Obaid Al Anzi. Also present from IJF were Mr. Antonio Castro, IJF Ambassador and Mr. Ovidiu Semenescu, representing IJF sponsor Dalkia.
The guests visited the premises of the Presidential Office and had friendly talks regarding the upcoming IJF World Championships to be held in Budapest, in the period August 28-September 3, and other judo development related matters.
